In our office FLUOR has been replaced with hydroxyapatite. We recommend articles for oral hygiene without fluoride, parabens and SLS.

WHY HYGIENISATION?

Teeth covered with plaque quickly undergo dental caries. Tartar causes the excess exposure of gingivae, which consequently, leads to inflammation and bleeding. Accumulating along the roots tartar can cause the bone atrophy, and as a result, instability and even loss of teeth. What is more, tartar is a perfect habitat for millions of bacteria which are responsible for bad breath and bad condition of teeth, gingivae and bones. Consuming food colours makes our teeth look dirtier and darker than in reality.

Many people, after brushing teeth, have the impression that they are far from being perfectly clean and smooth. The causes of it, the most often, are unfamiliarity of the effective techniques of brushing as well as improperly selected tools and oral care products.

HOW DOES THE TREATMENT LOOK LIKE?

Qualified hygienist cleans teeth, by removing tartar, plaque, and dark deposits.

Next, the surface of teeth is polished in order to prevent reoccurrence of oversensitivity, accumulation of tartar, and development of caries. Such a minor surgery makes the teeth brighter, smoother, and easier to clean. Moreover, it stops the acute gingivae bleeding. Additionally, the treatment considerably diminishes the amount of bacteria, which are responsible for causing inflammation, caries and bad breath. The teeth cleaned in such way can undergo a laser measurement of level of demineralisation. The above facilitates the early detection, and prevention, of the development of caries in the spots where the ailment is prone to arise.

During the visit, the hygienist helps to individually match the appropriate products for everyday care of oral cavity. She also explains how to apply them in the most effective way, so that teeth can look perfectly clean as if you have just paid a visit at the dentist’s.

Moreover, if necessary, she draws up and individual programme of preventive treatment for both, a child and an adult.
